Tony Bovey

I found Tony through Facebook ... eventually, I followed him up using Messenger and was delighted when I got a positive response. It was Tony!! Here's his timeline. When I showed the photo to Jenny, she said ... of course it's Tony! Having made contact, Tony sent me this potted post-Aber biography.

  • Year of drifting. 
  • Two years at Architectural Association School of Planning.
  • Dept of Environment (around the corner from Houses of Parliament): structure plan advice and Advice Notes. 
  • Planner at Oxon. Co. Co.: strategic development control, minerals local plan and First  Structure  Plan for Oxon.
  • Countryside  management  and policy.
  • Inter alia, Asset management ("asset stripping property") and Special Projects (eg. property information, travellers, Council development);
  • Externalisation to Atkins, Director (Planning, Valuation and Land Survey).
  • Transfer to Mouchel, Director (Planning and Valuation).
  • Inter alia, public sector management consultant (local authorities, health trusts, police, etc) and expert witness (eg. park and rides).
  • Early retirement six years ago. 
So much to talk about. I want an update on what happened to Llangorse, his mum and dad's place where we had a great weekend.
